…death of thought

…death of thought

to much lately
i get crossed up
wondering
why you won’t let
me say the things
i need to say

you project your
thoughts of me
into me
inside of me

with no clue as
to what or who
or why i am
who i have
become

i’m the monster you
run from
the master you desire
the friend who was
never good enough
to call on a
shallow sunday
morning

and there’s so many
words and so many
feelings and so many
thoughts

i want to choke you with,
submit you with,
but

its gone now
that’s the life
and death
of a thought.

baseball

we grew up
poor with
three channels
on a tv

transitor radio
with Ernie Harwell
to paint

what we couldn’t see

I remember
wanting to be Lance Parrish
he was an ox
of a man

we didn’t have disposable money
to spend
on trivial things like
dentist appointments
and
baseball bats

but we had big oak
trees
and a chainsaw
and some sand paper
at our disposal

louisville slugger,
this was not

but it did me well
for a season on the
brink

of life in another town
of life in another house
of life in a whole different world

you know what it is, but you don’t know why it hurts so much

winds blow heavy on
a never ending
always spinning
mass of decayed
life matter

while an unrelenting
sequence of
birds flying over
searching for a
worm to
get hold of

as the waves crash
against the rocks
that have
settled into a
semi cosmic
coma of solitude

under an angry
sky that never
leaves, never
dies

sits above us
seperates us
from
fact
or fiction

and maybe a
black hole
or
two

the machine and the human meat market

Dear Government,

I intend no ill will
for the ink i’m about
to spill in digital
text that I hope,
no implore
you to read

I’ve sat silent on
many issues, and took
in the words of my
leaders

And i’ve watched,
year after year,
bill after bill,
election after election,
only to see

another puppet
handed fake powers
to a super power
that is no more

this country was once founded
on basic theories of a civilized
society, but this past week

while the country was once again,
held hostage, as
old government and new
government shouted, at times,
racial, sexist hate speech
at one another

ah, the change
the fresh change
the new age,

again, all lies

how can we move on,
in unison, when our house
is divided by bigotry,
by blindness
by righetous
benefactors who care nothing
for the people who this
bill was for in the first place

fine me, take my money
you’ve stolen from me
before – at least now
i’ll see it coming

and i’m not angry
no, this was a predictable
outcome

absolute power absolutley corrupts
and we’ve given you so many
of our rights away, how can we
take them back

soon you will be at my front
door to tell me to hand over
my potato chips
my cheesy mac
my coca-cola

soon through the help
of my employer you will institute
a wellness plan
so i can become well

well enough for you to send me
or those around me
to war for you

we are the human meat market
the untapped source of muscle
you desire

like the oil
oh, the oil you so badly
need

the machine will go on
doing what the machine does

but a name change is probably in
due order,
as we are in no way,
united anymore

Ham Boner …er, Haim and Boner.

I’ve actually been doing some hard hitting research on this death of Haim. It all seems to directly correspond with Heather Graham.

In 1988 she starred with Haim and Feldman in a little movie called “License to Drive”.

Two years later, she was in a movie called “I love You to Death”.

In that movie? River Phoenix.

In 1993, the lovely Graham played “Cowgirl Heather” in the movie “Even Cowgirls get the Blues”. Pat “Mr. Miyagi” Morita was in that flick. He died in 2005. This is a push – but what is interesting is Rain Phoenix was also in this movie.

Which also explains why Joaquin Phoenix is a douche.

Also in 1993, Graham had a cameo in “Six Degrees of Seperation”, which makes me think of the whole “Six degrees of Kevin Bacon” … why you ask? because I love Bacon.

Plus Will Smith was in the movie, and his son is in the new Karate Kid movie – Which brings back Pat Morita.

In 1995 I graduated from Bullock Creek High School. Strange? NO, lots of kids graduate from there. However, A film called “Let it Be Me” was released. It was a musical. Graham had another little part in this. Who else? Patrick Stewart.

He was apparently blinded during the filming. Possibly from her beauty. Or her forehead. We aren’t sure. If you don’t remember him, watch Star Trek: The Next Generation.

She went on to play Lorraine, in “Swingers” with Ron Livingston. Livingston is most famous for his role as Peter Gibbons, in “Office Space”. In that film, the lovable Milton Waddams barely escaped death from a fire set bye Gibbons and his friends.

So, your probably thinking “What is this all about”.

Simple.

One of her first roles in show biz …. “Growing Pains”. Heather Graham must be captured and brought to me. So .. you know .. all these deaths can stop …. no other … no other reason. It has nothing to do with a …er, “Boner”.

Good night, and thank you for reading.

Insomniac Theater Presents: Gurgle, Chew, Spit, Rinse, Repeat.

i was asked by a passerby
if i knew today would be the
last of my days on this planet
and had just one more
chance

at unrequited love,
what would be the title
of the ad i’d
place in the
last chance
romance
press

i scratched my head for a second,
thinking something witty would
be the way to catch this
kitty that’s escaped my
bruised paws

but really there is no perfect line
to write, we’re more complicated
than a mad lib
game

what with all the mad libs
running around the globe,
protecting us from free
form feelings

how can i love if
i can’t feel hurt
if i can’t
see blood
on my hands
at night
from the

relationships i strangle
to death within my
own self pity

it was then that i noticed the passerby
had went and passed me by

and that’s when i etched into the fresh cement:

“Seeking she, too listen to the sounds, with.”

Book status

I’ve got 60 pages of the book written, in the can, binded in my laptop. The goal was 150 pages, I believe. I can’t remember now. But thats where were are right now.

And I’ve got a working title, finally.

“Inside the human body, everything is dead”

But of course, that could all change on a whim. I’m thinking of publishing the first 50 copies myself, and send them off to a few publishing houses.

I’m basically posting this, because I have nothing else to do …. ;)
